Phoenix SUT & SUV

This car is probably the most commonly usable electric car currently for sale. No incredible top speed or acceleration that only serves people who already have 4 cars parked at their mansion. And not an ugly ducky electric car that look like it's designed by a kindergarten boy. I'm not a real fan of the design of the Ssangyong Actyon as used for this car, but the design is robust and mature.

Phoenix Motors SUT

Performance of the Phoenix SUT

With a top speed of 95 mph, a range of 130 miles (better ranges later this year), the acceleration of this heavy truck is still just 10 seconds. Using the NanoSafe batteries it also allows you to charge the car in 10 minutes.

Pricing of the Phoenix SUT

The pricing of the vehicle is not really known, I have read somewhere it's $ 35,000 but that's after huge incentives, since the battery packs alone are about $ 75,000. As said on other pages of this site, I'm not an authority on these matters, so don't kill me if I'm wrong.

Ordering a Phoenix SUT or SUV

The SUV of Phoenix MotorsCurrently it is in production but only sold to fleet owners, such as utility companies and municipalities. In the late 2008, there will also be a SUV available for consumers market, it will fit 7 people. The model will also be based on the Ssangyong Actyon model and probably have the same specs or better then the currently produced SUT. Their target for 2007 is 500 vehicles and 6000 in 2008.
